Here is my pride and joy in her current form, but first we need to go travel back in time to September 2014. Here she was pure granny spec 😝 Grey bumpers, black steelies with no hubcaps, dents, scratches and rust in places. Go forward a 6 months (April 2015) and the mods had already taken in the shape of, wind deflectors, stoptech slotted discs, Tein 38mm Springs, Jdm Vitz cubby doors, TRD oil and radiator cap and a train horn because Yolo. More time passed and more mods were added, most notably Ae92 GTI Corolla wheels and a Leon cupra R splitter By August '15, the Springs and Corolla wheels were gone and a set of Ta Technix coilovers and 15' Vitz Rs wheels had been bought. Now for the signature part of the build 😁 Here are the wheels in the process of being refurbed in time for japfest 15 Engine mods because every 1 litre needs them. Hks earthing kit, trust air intake with itg filter, painted rocker cover, domo resivor sock and some envy performance front and rear strut braces In December 15' I picked up a full tsport kit off a mate for £100, 2 bumpers, side skirts, 2 wings and a bootlid... Great craic trying to fit in all in the back of the Yaris So there's the first part of my thread, I'll add the rest of it in the morning.

Part 2... I treated her to some new wheels, 14x8 and 14x9 vw banded steelies, the back wheels were so wide that they pushed up against the arches and created so much friction that the car could hardly move... So the rear cup and adjusters had to go back in. One week later the inevitable happened... But thankfully she only had some minor damage, a bent lower support and a leaky radiator. Here she is at the TOC-irl (Toyota owners club Ireland) Easter meet. April '16 the decision made to send the car to paint, with the tsport kit attached to be repainted in 8m4 dark blue metallic While the car was a away being painted, I under took the job of preparing my wheels for her arrival back home. The finished product, each wheel had all bolts removed to make it easier to clean them, then had 2 layers of peek metal polish, 2 layers of meguiars extreme polish and 3 layers of chemical guys wheel guard. The day I got here back from paint, totally different car altogether Swapped out the stock 1litre seats for a set of Vitz Rs seats, so much nicer than the stock seats, but I had planned on swap in seats from a crashed French yaris that I had but the seats decided they didn't want to leave the car. Then it was time to give her some pipes and make her a little louder. (shes also been decatted) Tasty little Vitz Rs arm rest That basically concludes my yaris build for the time being. I'll post a full spec list to make it easier to read. Over and out.

Thanks lads, but yes you would be correct about a turbo on my list of things to do... I'll let you in on my plans as the forum is still quite small But it's not just a turbo upgrade i'm planning but i'm doing a 4efte (glanza / starlet gt turbo) engine swap... I hope to have it running around 150bhp as a starting base but the more power the better by the time it's finished it'll be a one of a kind yaris

the plan is to have her running about 150bhp for the time being until i can afford a tdo4 setup... but 150 would be enough to cause a stir and wipe a few smurks off peolpes faces @ 150bhp and weighing in at 855kg she'll be making 175bhp per ton which is some going for any car, never mind a yaris

Update time 😁 I've just been collecting parts over the past months... So I'll show you what I've gathered... I've finally got some Centre caps for my mk1's... I met a guy at a cars n coffee who had a set and months of talking or pestering which ever you prefer 😂 there were finally mine... Got a cheeky picture from juicebox's coverage of the Annual Classic and Old School Toyota Gathering in cork... Putting in a cat for the old test... Most recently I collect basically a fully Vitz Rs interior to go along with my seats, a mate of mine was breaking a 5door so I jumped at the chance.... I got a full dash with jdm cassette cd radio combo, new door cards, electric folding mirrors 😍 rear electric windows conversion, front and rear fogs etc etc the list goes on.... Now to find the time to swap everything...
